I feel like a lot of people can relate to the difficult decision of having to put down your buddy. It is an uncomfortable but necessary conversation to have, but nothing makes it easier. This is a conversation I felt like my cat told me to have during the last stages of his heart failure. This piece represents the compassion humans have for their animals no matter how difficult. Besides rainbows being the bridge we must all cross, it is a reminder to myself that all the heartbreak is worth it.

The Earth is our mother. Simple as that. This print is also titled “mother” because my dear mom is a fierce advocate of trading energy with the trees. Some of her most repeated advice is to go talk to the trees, give them my unwanted energy, and they will handle the rest.
